HER STORY
Rooted in self-care.
Grown through connection.
In November 2015, a traumatic car accident left Da’Shea blind in her left eye. Already struggling with her self-esteem, she faced a deeply difficult period. Her two children gave her a reason to keep going.
A new chapter began in 2020, when she met her Reiki teacher, Denise. Da’Shea describes that introduction as the beginning of a self-care journey—one that helped her find peace and learn to offer herself grace and love.
That personal experience is part of the heart of Healing Heartstrings. Today, as a Reiki practitioner and licensed esthetician, she shares her focus on self-love and wellness through Reiki and SkinFluence skincare.

She completed Usui Reiki First Degree training in March 2022 and Second Degree practitioner training in September 2022 with Denise Ann Sumbry.
Additional skincare training
Her education includes microdermabrasion training through Brown Aveda Institute using Kendal Professional systems in August 2025.
